ギャツビー/科研費合同ワークショップ：人工知能と神経科学

ワークショップについて

　近年の「ディープラーニング」の進化は、画像認識や囲碁などで人間を凌ぐ人工知能を可能にしました。しかし今日の人工知能は汎用性、柔軟性ではまだ人間には及ばず、人工知能研究者も脳の動作原理に学ぼうという機運が高まっています。また神経科学の側でも、シーケンサーやイメージング等の膨大なデータを理解するために人工知能の活用が必須になりつつあります。このワークショップのねらいは、人工知能と神経科学の先端を切り開く日英の研究者を集め、脳のような人工知能と神経科学の高度化のための研究ターゲットを定め、学際的、国際的な共同研究に繋げていくことです。
