Planned Research Group Leader, Dr. Hiroaki Gomi (NTT Communication Science Labs.) has published a paper in Current Biology. Dr.Gomi and his research group have shown that “Conflict Learning” in arm movements, which is usually considered difficult, can be easily achieved simply by changing gaze. This fact indicates that novel arm movement skills can be represented by coupling the gaze state during learning. We hope you will read this paper.
